I'm very proud I was nominated to represent Switzerland at the very first CMAS European Championship in Underwater Videography, held in La Herradura, Spain, in October 2016. It was a live competition, meaning all competitors were in the water at the same time, having only 3 dives to collect the required video material and a 5-hour-slot to edit everything into a finished short-film that was judged by a expert jury.
Unfortunately, due to technical problems with our computer, we (Claudio Schärer as my assistant and myself) didn't finish editing in time (5 min too late!) and were disqualified from the competition. Nevertheless were are very happy with the short film we produced during this tight time schedule.
